Sig P320 vs CZ p10f

Those are both good options. I went with a SIG P320 as it has future potential of being extensively changed to what I want at that time due to the removable Fire Control Unit (FCU).

I mean, neither... I'd go with a heavier steel frame gun for your first, like an SP-01 Shadow. Muzzle flip and felt recoil are two things you'll want to avoid as a new pistol shooter, and you'll get plenty of both with the Sig (Light gun, high bore axis, relatively heavy slide). Less with the CZ, but still more than is ideal.

But if I had to choose between the 2, definitely the CZ. Cuz better gun.

The CZ has better ergonomics and a far, far better stock trigger.
My advice would be spend an extra $100 and get the Walther PDP as it’s better than both of them and has optic mount capability down the road.
a few dealers have them in stock around the $900 mark.

but if you go with Sig, I’ve got some Legion XRAY night sights for sale ;)

SIG.

It’s the only one of the two with guaranteed support for decades. Further, the aftermarket enables you to adjust whatever you don’t like.

CZ, Walther, etc may be good guns, but it was hard to find extra magazines, let alone spare parts for them, before the current nonsense. Good luck now and in future when the market shrinks.

Yeah the point about modularity and aftermarket stuff is valid. I just find the P320 as it comes stock to be cheap feeling and top-heavy.
the Cz is an overall better quality pistol. Not as many around as the SIG as it’s a newer model, and the Walther is going to be even more rare as it was just released last year.

keep in mind this might be your ONLY hand gun, let alone being your first, if the hammer drops in October and the libs get their way. So make sure you buy the best one you can. Watch as many experienced reviewers of all options and see if any of them do comparisons.

My brother and I both have SIG P320 and love it. I have fired a CZ and really liked it. It's heavier than the SIG. But you can replacement parts or mods for the SIG easier than the CZ. The P320 is very easy to clean and maintain.

I have both and like both but if I had to choose the P320 . Hard to beat. I think the P320 is better quality and feels better in my hands personally.

Guns themselves in stock form are close. The big benefit is the removable FCU in the P320. If problems arise or modifications are desired hands down P320.

Along these lines, my first pistol was a CZ Shadow 2 for these reasons. I'm feeling good about my accuracy but I tried a Shadow Systems DR920 last weekend and was all over the map. So from one newbie to another, consider a steel framed model first as it'll be much easier to aim and control. I cannot offer any comment on the Sig vs Block as I don't have a Sig but I am close to getting a CZ P10SC as I'd also like a striker fired pistol in my collection.

The cz p10f has a really texturized grip. Almost too agrresive in my opinion. I like the hk sfp9 or a beretta apx something that has more ergonomics or Walter ppq

What about the girsan regard Mc I've heard good things about it

If you still haven't bought anything, I heard the Girsans are actually decent as well. Depends on your taste. But most clone guns tend to be a tip of the hat to the gun they're copying.

I strongly, strongly recommend a CZ P-10 SC though. Siwash in Chilliwack has them in stock, I just got one. Best feeling gun I've held aside from a SIG M11-A1.. which is completely different but equally comfortable. The slightly rough grip on the CZ is designed that way for a purpose, don't let the softies decide your fate.

I have the x5 320. I changed the grip to a Wilson module. Oddly, that moves the gun into ESP for IDPA but for me the Wilson grip was worth every penny. I can always change back to the factory 320 or X5 grip.
All of the polymer guns shoot about the same and it is rare to find one not to be reliable. The 320 will be around for the next 30 years so the choice is a no brainer. CZ makes very good steel pistols...polymer pistols....maybe not so much..

Take Care

The CZ's grip is way longer than necassary for Canadian use. It's designed for 18-20 shot clips, American style.

Soon we will be neutered to only 5 shots. Handle them both, and then decide.
