I bought a Sig Pro 2340 (with restricted barrel) from Dlask for the glorious price of $399. But it is DOA.

Anyone know if it's hard to convert it to DA/SA? Do I just need to order a few parts? or should I leave it DOA.

I think they have a handful left if anyone wants one too. Google Dlask arms.

If you look on Numrich, you will see that under SIGARMS --> SP2340 you will see something called "Hammer Box Assembly, SA & DA", which is pretty much a drop-in conversion for the SIGPro, for the not so glorious price of $213.05 US dollars - which means it will be trickier to get across the border. More importantly it would work out to like a $300 part for a $399 gun in Canadian money. Cheaper to buy a used SP2022, and closing in on the price of a new SP2022 by the time you get it here.

I think there is a way to buy the individual parts to convert a gun to SA/DA or DAO, but not from Numrich. Brownells sells the hammer box assemblies for a bit less, but they will not ship SIG parts to Canada any more.

Probably best to just use the gun as a DAO. Anything else is not going to make any sense economically. I have been eyeing those cheap SIGPros on Joe's site too, but the DAO makes it a lot less attractive to me.

BTW, have you shot yours yet? Can you get decent results with the DAO trigger. I can shoot my SIGs in DA quite well, but I can't say as I would want every shot to be like that.

just type sig pr0 2340 in google. You will find info on it.

Sounds like Ghostie did the research. I'll try it DA only. If the trigger suck maybe I'll see if I can some lower weight mainsprings or something.

I don't have the gun yet, I ordered it on Monday. Should have it next week or the week after. BC CFO is fast and I live one city away from where Dlask is.

You cannot replace the mainspring as it is an integral part of the "Fire Control Unit". Ghostie is correct that you must puchace and replace the "FCU" as a unit if you wish to make it a DA/SA.

i saw those too, but how did yours come cocker ? they looked rather beatin up from the pics on the website. if they put the 229s for that price id be all over them ;)

pics are up. Trigger is long, but smooth. Before it breaks it get a bit heavier though. It's light, but its also not a really heavy pull. My CZ 75 had a heavier DA than this. Over all i'm happy with it. Especially at the price point.

Has tritium sights. As for the condition, mine is in good shape. There is the tiniest bit of holster wear at the front left side. But you can't see it unless you look real close.

The guy at Dlask was pretty cool, showed me some of their wares. Their AR-15 receivers are nice, and they have a cool assortment of 1911 parts.

It's a Sig with a new EFK barrel for $399, it can't be bad from an accuracy standpoint, or any other standpoint for that matter. That's almost a half price gun.

What was the final cost with tax, approx 440? Thanks for the pics, it looks like its in great shape, wonder how it shoots. $400 for a sig in 40s&w thats a sweet deal.
