I see sig sauer is coming out with the kilo 2400 range finder with bulistic calculater that goes out to 2 miles love to try one I have the kilo 2000 and I love it

The furthest for me so far was 25xx something. Thats good enough for me as I dont see myself shootin that far anytime soon. :)

I believe beam divergence and reticle are two.

It's not in the same league as the Terrapin, then again neither is the price.

I'm tempted of buying the Sig and selling my Swarovski, simply because of the continuous ranging and seems to be less susceptible to shakes. The Swaro is great, but if you can't hold it still it won't give you a reading past 600ish. Could be argued a good thing though as a false number isn't a good number.

2400 has me at sticker shock. I missed out buying a Terrapin when they were $1750 new, thinking that was ridiculous in price even though I've experienced how awesome they were. Now I'm not so sure. I guess having ballistics in the finder would be handy and reduce the additional gear needed to shoot.

I fully agree the reticle is off a bit

What draw backs

Beam divergence for sure is the biggest, this is one thing that the 2400 fixes. Lack of tripod mount (without buying one of the metal 'sleeves' for it) and the scan mode, where the Sig really shines, can be hard on batteries.. but i'm starting to nit-pick.

Good on Sig for filling the gap in the market that Vectronix left when they discontinued their 'affordably' priced units.
