Hello everyone, Im wondering if someone can help me. I have searched around and can't find anything f
Explaining this. Im looking at getting the above rifle in the title. But after watching a few videos they talked about an enhanced BCG but don't explain what this means etc. Anyone happen to know? Thanks.

I am not an AR guy, I know very little about them compared to others on here - and shoot it mostly when my sons come out with me. However, I read about how there can be play between the upper and lower - that it is normal for the platform; there is no play between the upper and lower on my Sig. Everything just works, it's tight, and I have not had a single issue with the rifle.

Thats what I like to hear. Shopping around for the best price but its not an easy rifle so to speak when you start trying to find them in canada. I have found them on a few pages and some are coming with a "free" sight. Would love a few more places to check before I jump on one.

I’m unfamiliar with Sig AR pattern rifles but usually an enhanced BCG includes a different carrier profile, or carrier coating or a combination on the two etc. In my experience, a standard BCG is more than adequate. If you find one at a great price I wouldn’t be hesitant to jump on it.

I assume you are looking at the M400 Elite?

Here is the description from SIG’s website:

This carbine comes with the good stuff—all of it—pre-installed. Like a free-floating M-LOK handguard, which promotes accuracy and handling. Or a quality grip and premium, 6-position buttstock with integral QD points. The Enhanced SIG Trigger on the M400 Elite enables the shooter to extract excellent accuracy from the rifle’s lightweight, 16” nitride barrel that is equipped with a SIG Micro-light Gas Block. Further sweetening this ready-to-shoot package is an optional ROMEO5 red dot sight that features MOTAC (Motion Activated Illumination) and an insane 40,000-hour battery life.

The M400 is a nice rifle, particularly the Elite version with the Romeo5. I have not shot one, so I don’t know yet how the SIG Enhanced trigger performs.

I've got 4 AR's with one of them bring an M400 enhanced. Ive got approx 1500 ish rounds down the pipe without any failures other than magazine related problems. The Ambi mag release and integrated QD ports in the receiver are a nice touch. The only downside is the terrible factory trigger but that's always a replaceable part if u feel the need to.
I wouldnt hesitate to buy another. Great carbine my friend!

Im sorry guys I didnt get an email that there was more messages. I must of missed that on the sig page cheers though. From everything I have read there isn't much of a bad review or issues with them at all. Yes I would be going. After the elite with the sight. I would like to go with the 16" barrel if possible. I must have missed the one up for sale in the EE section. Time to go look. What is the difference between the elite and the predator? And standby for a pm as well WGT consulting.
