Are the grips different than the ones pictured. I could be wrong but the ones pictured sure look like the standard plastic ones to me...

Grips look like the standard one but the texture is finer and grippier. This looks like the right picture notice the higher undercut trigger guard as well. These are much heavier than the standard p226. I like it so much after I shot it I sold my mk25 and bought one of these.
 
10-4 on the finer grip texture, they are the same ones that came on my LDC I'm pretty sure. It lists G10 grips in the body of the OP's post though and I was just wondering if this was the case as I have never seen a German Sig with factory G10 grips. If they are G10 I want it!!!
The only X series I can see that comes with g10 magwell grips is the X-supermatch.
