Just placed my order in at Cabela's for Sig Sauer P226 X5 X-Press Pistol.

Tried one at club last night and fell in love with it.

Blackhawk! Polymer Serpa Sportster Holster (Sig 220/226/5/6/8/9) $34.99

Sig Sauer P226 X5 X-Press Pistol $1599.99

Sig Sauer Replacement Handgun Magazines (P226 9mm CF) $49.99

Best price I could find in Canada.

Such a nice gun. Good choice. How ever if its not in stock you are looking at a least a year wait. I placed a order for a gun almost 8 months ago still nothing.

Does that holster fit the X-Five models though?

Must be a difference from the previous models... Too cheap, are these still made in Germany or US?

X-PRESS
SIG SAUER offers the X-PRESS with its 5 inch slide in 9mm and .40 as an attractively priced solid steel beginner model. As an SAO system (not adjustable) with plastic grip plates, a 17 (9mm) / 12 (.40) round magazine and adapter plate with rigid sights. The X-PRESS can naturally be upgraded at any time.

The 1913 picatinny rail, produced as a standard for all models, enables the simultaneous usage of our new fully modular X-MOUNT mounting system and the most diverse barrel weights.

The clearly improved ergonomics interacting with the reworked grip plates offer a noticeably improved hand position and a reduced grip size.
The resulting deeper barrel bore guarantees higher precision and reduces the weapon's recoil.

The deep engraving on the frame enables a significantly more secure hold, making the X-SERIES one of SIG SAUER's most manageable weapons.

“Every second counts” – Every sports shooter knows: Speed and performance are crucial! We have therefore decided to “fine-tune” every second of the X-Series performance. The X-LINE Speedcut and Jetfunnel make it possible to reload at lightning speed and reduce the tilting of the magazine – vital seconds which count!

Seems the price difference is made up in a non-adjustable trigger, and different parts (non extended release, non skeletonized trigger, etc).

PS; For those that enjoy the DA/SA Sig the new All Around is dead ###y .

I too have found Cabela's to have the lowest prices, my local WSS has one as well I believe...but I prefer smaller shops personally (to each their own). Congrats on your decision. Post a review/pics when it arrives!

Checked with Cabelas today, since I have not heard anything. Was worried they might not have stock,

But all is OK, they are just waiting for CFO confirmation before shipping.

Getting anxious.................

It is beautiful! Bad website to visit if you have a recently developed affinity for X-Series!

Looking forward to the OP's pictures.

Mmmmmmm.....X Series.....

i saw that p226 x5 Classic on Cabelas. That's a must have.

Cancelled my order from Cabelas for X5 X-Press. Wanted to purchase it for IPSC shooting, but would have to either go in standard or open class. Have not shot IPSC yet, going to take my blackbadge course in early new year. I will do the course with what I have for now and maybe do another purchase later.

After talking with a few IPSC shooters on the forum as well as some emails I decided that even though it is a beautiful pistol and shoots well it is not going to fit in what I want it for.

Luckily I found out the info prior to them shipping it out.

Cabelas showed they were out of stock so I guess there will be one back in stock soon.
