Well it just #### the bed. Battery fine, just stopped working. Bought optic years ago, hardly used it. Had it on an .22lr. Just tried it today on my S&W fpc, got two mags off and optic is dead. Unfortunately I think warranty good for 5 years. Not sure if I’ll get another, Chinese crap.

Mine has been going strong for a few years. On the other hand my Eotech EFLX quit the other day. No idea why yet.

I recently picked up a used Romeo5 off the EE.

Upon installation on my UBS, it was obvious that something was wrong with the reticle adjustments... (I have a bunch of these, this was the only one with an issue...)

A quick email to Sig Sauer had me sending the unit back & I just got an email indicating that the replacement is in the mail.

Cheers
Jay

There are LOADS of reviews etc on YouTube extoling the virtues of the Romeo5. It seems to be a very durable and robust design. Like anything there will be a few lemons etc. Sometimes sh!t happens.

For $200 the Romeo5 is packed full of features and performance.

I ain't a big Vortex fan, but ####, a $200 Chinese red dot is a gamble no matter what name is on it. They (Vortex) are the #### for warranty, you would have the new replacement at your door with pre paid return for the broken one in a day... maybe 2 if you are rural lol.

Sig Sauer...the name is thrown around on a pile of stuff, GSG junk, Chinese red dots and scopes, use to be a name associated with high quality German ####, people would source out German P pistols over the US made, then they got kicked out of Germany in 2020 for being too American lol.

I do like the Sig USA made brass though, it's good ####.
