Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement barrel for the 970 rifle in Canada?

I tried importing one out of the USA but they refused to ship it in the end, due to their insane export laws. On the other hand, they will not fall into the hands of terrorists, I guess.

Welcome to the club. Numrich have a bunch of them, but as you found out, there's no way to get them here. We tried to import under legal eays, but even if it's possible, it would cost way too much. Keep your eyes on the EE as they seldom show up there once in a while. That's where we stand for now.

MD Charlton was the service/parts depot for these rifles in Canada, I called them, no barrels to speak of and they were not sure if they had any mags or not. Seems they are rare as hens teeth..

Have one of these, with 300 wm and two mags, 270 barrel with one. Both walnut and synthetic stock.

Since i have a 300 and a 270 i like more.....Hawkeye and Win single shot....its for sale. Should list it tomorrow.
