I have a 226 in 9mm manufactured in '96. I am interested in buying a new 226 classic with beavertail so I have a .22 option. Would the slide off my older non-railed sig fit on the newer 226 classic? only reason I am asking this is because I want a sig in .22, want a beavertail framed model and already have this 226.
