I belive in Canada that is the Hammerli X esse. I dont think theyre in production any more. Al Simmons in Hamilton had them. You will also see them in the ee somtimes.

As near as I can see, the Hammerli Xesse is the same pistol but with a nicer finish. I had one for a couple of years but sold it. I kinda regret selling it, but que sera sera. Just to rub salt in the wound, when I decided to shoot just one more target before handing it over to the new owner, I shot a 94 or 95 with it; my best score ever, up to that point. The German section of the manual called it "Das Plinken Pistolen" or something like that. Had a hot Euro-trash looking babe on the cover too.
Ya, they are virtually the same gun, about three or four different variations. Very nice plinker. Whoever was in charge of the mosquito project should have asked the x-esse guys for advice. Very nice for smaller hands too. Too bad they never got more of these out. The mags looked a little cheap to me though.
