Well that got me looking and I find that it is off a Browning A5 Slug Barrel

Interesting--had no idea

Had the same look as a Blr sight. Was going to note that the base appeared slightly bent. Obviously made for shotgun barrel contour. Never even saw a Browning slug barrel sight before.
