Hey guys and, I picked up an STI AR comp rifle with the shorter handguard. The problem I am having is I am trying to mount the Midwest Ind sights that come off my XCR on this weapon but the front sight is a 1/4" to low. What would be the easiest way correct this without having to buy a new front sight. Is there a spacer that I could get for the forearm tube? Any help is mucho appreciated. Thanks Rifleman.

The sights off your XCR are designed for the same plane. You'll need a gas block front sight for your STI AR. No real fix, you just need the right front sight.
