I'm getting a Beretta Storm, and yes I know the issues that people have had with them... I was wondering what kind of sights might work well with this gun. Anyone have a sight on theirs? Suggestions? Thanks.

Go for the typical black rifle optics....

Aimpoint, Eotech, ACOG, S&B Short Dot or cheaper Bushnell red dots etc as budget dictates. Personally, I like Aimpoints but havent had much experience with the S&B products and those users tend to rave about them...

The cheaper optics arent bad for the money but, well, there is a difference between a $60 optic and a $1000 optic and the difference often becomes very apparent very quickly...

I've played with (read tested and used operationally) most of the latest, greatest optics on MP5's and C8's. I also got to try the Eotech on a Storm (Quigley has one). They are all excellent choices however, I prefer the Eotech just because it appeals to me and I found it to be faster than a dot alone. It looks good on the Storm and is very fast.

When I first tested optics two years ago I was initially, strictly sold on iron sights but I found any of the optics to be significantly faster and more accurate than irons alone. I'm a convert to optics esp. Eotech (I shot it fastest!)

I have a $50 Simmons red dot on my 9mm CX4... works fine.
If the battery dies I revert back to.... Oh, what are they called?....
Mmmmm, Oh, yeah... Iron sights.;)

Do any of our wonderful supporting dealers sell the Schmidt & Bender Shot Dot sights? Do they come up in the ee forums at all? Whats the prices for them?

Wolverine supplies sells the S&B line. As for the Short Dot price...you'd have to email them for a quote I think. I've seen them listed at $2000USD and up on various dealer sites.

Isn't an eotech too tall to be used on the storm? You can't co-witness with iron sights with the eotech right?

If you want to coindex you need to use either a Docter Optik or Aimpoint with low ring.
