Sight pusher

I am going to machine a sight pusher (similar-ish to the williams) any tips, or key features that should be incorporated or left out in the design?

Anybody else build their own?












(I am too cheap, and too impatient to order a fresh williams)

Build it deep.


Just measuring mine looks like I get 0.875" across and from the bottom of the base to the underside of the "pusher" I get 0.425"

Start with square tubing, pad it and drill and tap a couple holes. Been thinking 1" ID for a .45 and maybe putting a nut on with a padded eye bolt.
