I just bought a Savagwe 12BVSS in 22-250 and would like to zero the scope for 200 yards. How high should I be at 100 to be on at 200? Also can anyone recommend a good hand load for this caliber?
Thanks

The best way to zero your scope at 200 yards is to shoot it at 200 yards. Can't tell you much about a starting load without knowing what powder and bullets you plan to start with.

It will depend on what bullet you are shooting but a ball park starting point will be around 1.5" @ 100 yards.

With that rifle I would think it will be harder for you to find a load that doesn't shoot.

I have the same rifle and I have not found anything that won't shoot out of it.

It just depends on what your happy with. Is 1 MOA good, or does it have to be 1/4 MOA. I have not shot anything through it that goes more than 1" at 100 yards. And that included the cheap winchester stuff from walmart.

Just decide what bullet you want to shoot and enjoy.
