Hello everyone,
I am reasonably new to shooting and sighting in, and wanted to know if anyone has experience shooting a No.I Mk.III Enfield, and getting some really good groups on iron sites? What kind of groups can be expected off a 1917 manufactured rifle of this kind at 50 yards? 150? 300? I took it to the range and fired off a a few shots of my own handloads, then compared to the Winchester Super X .303 British hunting ammunition. I obtained a 3.5 inch group at 50 yards on iron sites with that ammo, but couldn't seem to get much at 150. How do I site it in and what's the recipe for getting good groupings on irons? Thanks!
Yours,
Drachenblut
