So, I have never had this much trouble sighting in a rifle before, but it was probably bound to happen.
Right now, the carry handle has maxed out on elevation, which I think I need to adjust the front sight up or down. I think the rear sight adjustments are bullet impact oriented, Ie, adjust right, bullet goes right.
But with the front sight, it only has up or down. If the front sight in reality moves up, bullet impact will go down. But maybe is the front sight bullet impact oriented as well (ie, adjusting it upwards according to the notation is actually going to change bullet impact upwards through a downward adjustment in the sight??)
Also, I know Questar has front sight adjustment tools for cheap, but what do you guys think of using a punch and some pliers with fabric covering the teeth?
Thanks, and sorry for the dumb questions
