Hi All,

Did some searches through the site for sites and sighting but didn't find what I am looking for. I have purchased 2 pellet rifles... both came equipped with site scopes and both are not sighted properly any longer after someone tried to set them up. Is there someplace in around Ottawa that I can take them to, to have them sighted properly?

I am hoping there is a place / someone who can provide this service.

Thanks in Advance

You should be able to site them in yourself fairly easily. Try shooting 10 yards at a 1” circle on a paper target using a good rest. Shoot groups of three and adjust the scope for center from the center of the group. I will say you need good ammunition to get good groups with a pellet gun. I have also found that you need to try several brands of good ammunition to see what your pellet gun likes. If these are cheaper pellet guns do not expect good results and expect them to wear out quickly. This is just what I have experienced with pellet guns myself and at the gun club.

I used those targets printed them so they're dime size one shot per, dead center and like Found said a good rest so your rifle doesn't move
Once you get them inside the small circle fine tune it till you hit dead center. Don't rob yourself of the pleasure :)

"...to have them sighted..." You can't. Nobody can sight in any firearm of any type for you. Nobody holds a rifle exactly the same as anybody else.
If you have a basement, you can do it there. An apartment is a bit trickier, but it's still doable. You need a target holder that works as a pellet catcher if your rifles are serious pellet rifles. Those would be high end target models. Otherwise, a cardboard box will do. I think I'd stuff it with newspapers just to be a bit safer.
