the guy has experience shooting (Inuk, so sustance hunting), tho i think he has shot upto 7mm mag and has a 10ga - granted a 338 win mag is getting heavy on recoil, i havent shot 1 but have 300win mag and have shot shot 338 lapua, so i wanna shoot it myself when i get the chance and not afraid of it or me being unsteady....
i checked my ballistic table and against the box data when setting the scope - tho i dont have my chrono to verify the ammo is good... the rifle has only fired about 1 box of cartridges (its a ruger m77) and cant remember the scope model.... he just got it used recently and was his 1st time shooting it - is it possible the rifle is inherently not accurate and was dump 2nd hand(if what i am told is correct, the prior owner sold it with only a few rounds through it)?
i am puzzled on this - have mounted too many scopes with same process and never this far off....
