This is a newbie question. How do you sight in a scope on a shotgun. I recently purchased a shotgun with a scope. It has interchangable chokes. Would I use a slug or..? Im new to the idea of sighting a shotgun lol. Any help would be great. Thanks

the first thing is to get a rifled choke tube for sabot slugs or use the impcyl. tube with regular slugs. the rifled choke tubes and sabots are better. the gun should then be boresighted for 50 yds. your local gunshop or gunsmith can do this for about $10.00 to $15.00. go and shoot at 50 yds. if any adjustments are needed right or left, up or down, simply adjust the vertical and horizontal cross hairs accordingly.a used pizza box with a 6" bullseye works great to start with.
