This is my first sightron, bought it used off a fellow gun nut. Wow, I must say I am impressed. Bought it to use on 22's to test ammo an accuracy.

The glass is crystal clear, the tactile feel of the clicks is very positive and audible, and a click is in fact 1/8 inch as advertised so very easy to dial in exactly on target, return to zero is consistent. Most of my optics are German and nf, but I must admit this one has really impressed me and would hugely recommend on to anyone.

After installing the scope my first shot at 50 yards was 3 1/4 inches low and 1/2 inch to the the right, after dialing in the second shot was bullseye. Not sure who the tech in japan was that calibrated this scope but it's absolutely bang on

I am no journalist or review expert just a plinker sharing my thoughts ;-).

my first sightron is a $650 scope on a $450 rifle. LOVE it. it's so nice i'm tempted to move up to an $800 sightron for that rifle and move the existing scope to a different rifle. they are CLEAR! in a way, they're nicer than standing 5 feet in front of the target itself. the glass is WICKED.

I have the same scope on my Feinwerkbau rimfire and love it. It is also a spare if my leupold happens to go south on my BR rifle.

Cy, thread hijack here,:) how do you like your fwb? I've been looking at them for some time.

Uchi. I looked through it for four hours yesterday after 3 it took some work to stay focused. Not a s&b or swarovski but for the price a bargain.

yeah but not everyone wants to spend over a grand on a low power scope :)
mind if i ask how much you picked it up for? id like to get something with the same level of magnification

I bought it used for 400 , was determined to fin one or a weaver for 300 but didn't happen. It was like new and warranty transfers so I don't mind buying used
