It will work very nicely. I would also recommend a set of Burris rings with inserts and/or a canted base to allow for max elevation travel.

I really like my 4-20x50, It's a great piece of glass for the money. I am sure one will serve you well.
I used Burris Signature Zee rings with mine. I wanted to protect the scope with the inserts and tilt the scope for more elevation.
