Sightron S1........

Well after all this hipp'in and holler'in, I finally did it.
Ordered one in and should be in the mail.
So hopefully by Christmas (or sooner ) I will have it.

So a Sightron S1 3-9x32 RF.
Fifty yard parallax and normal cross hairs I hope.
A pair of Leupold rings just to tease the scope a bit.

Wish me luck.

I just ordered this one;
Sightron - SIII SS - 8-32x56mm - Matte - SF - Long Range Mildot

Should be here by Christmas.my nephew has one and sure works.

I have a si 3x40 works perfectly. Tracks perfectly. Just like the SIII 8-32 I have. I talked my buddy into a sii for his hunting rifle and he loves it as well.

I tried an S1 rifle scope and wasn't impressed. Poor eye relief, sub-par glass, below average fit and finish. The rimfire line might be better/different, don't know.

I do have a few SII's and an SII BigSky that I am very pleased with. I also have a set of SII binos that I picked up online that are great, although the fit/finish on them is questionable. I've had to send them in for replacement once and eventually things were taken care of. Peter Dobson (CGN member) is a distributor IIRC and took care of business when Sightron corporate appeared to be stalling me by telling me the clearly faulty binos were 'within spec' lol.
