Been looking around for a new scope with adjustable objective and came across the Sightron SIH scopes.
Has all the features and reticle options I'm looking for but can't really find much feedback about them.

To my understanding the scope is made in the Philippines, and Ive heard good things about the SIII. Does anyone have
experience with Sightrons entry line and what they are comparable to?

I have an S1H, its from the hunting line, so without an adjustable objective lens. It a great budget scope.

Sightron are a no-frill, low profile manufacturer of very good scopes. Whilst they may not be at the cutting edge of scope technology they do make a nice scope.

I doubt that the S1H + adj objective lens is any different to their other scopes., you will not be dissapointed.

Thanks for the input, I'm also wondering how it would compare to my Vortex diamondback and nikon prostaff, curious if it would be same or better glass.

I have a couple of the cheaper Vortex's, and two mid range Monarch's from Nikon.

The Sightron will have better optics than the Vortex, similar or equal to a mid range Nikon. The reticle on Nikon are not the best in my opinion, particularly the traffic light bdc. Turrets are also fairly good on the Sightron.

Overall, I would say better than the Vortex, equal or better than the Nikon. (Unless its a higher end Nikon $1,000+ value.)

Just my opinion, many would likely disagree, but you will not go wrong with a Sightron I think.
