is any fellow cgn using a sightron sIII 8x32 scope??i read so many great things about them.guys over at 6mmbr can't say enough, sounds like it would make a perfect 1000yrd scope.also relatively affordable.

I can't say I have used the Sightron SIII 8x32 scope. I have a SII 3-9x42 on one of my hunting rifles and I have been very happy with it. Clear optics and solidly built internals. I would purchase another without hesitation. Sightron seems to have a small but loyal following. I think Sightron still offers their scopes in three quality levels, SI, SII and top of the line SIII. I also first learned about Sightron scopes from 6mmBR.com

Should get a 6x24 LR SIII in the coming weeks so will let you know how it goes.

These scopes have just been released and are gobbled up in the US. I really don't think any Cdn dealer even has them on their radar.

If my scope works out, I will be getting more so PM me.

Sightron has been dropped by the distibutor and rep group I was dealing with in Canada. The models brought in were the basic entry level and were fairly expensive for the quality they offered. It was simple supply and demand...since there was very little demand, sales were poor and the supply ran out. If there is significant interest in this line again then we will consider handling them. Phil.
