Hi All,
Has anybody used a Sightron SIII SS 6-24X50 LRMD/CM Riflescope. Are they worth their value??
Your opinion & suggestions counts.
Thanks

Pro's

Good glass for the money
15 MOA per/turret revolution
Respectable total adjustment for power range
Resonable weight for power range
Excellent Waranty

Cons

Cross hair slightly too thick
Better reticle options would be nice (like TMR or NPR-1 etc.)

I say they're worth it. I don't own any personally, but 3 of my shooting buddies own them. I've shot through them and ranged targets with the MD's

I don't have that specific scope but do have a 8-32x56 TRD that I shoot F/TR with. I think it's a fantastic scope, worth every penny. My next one will be an SIII as well. I've heard from more than one Nightforce owner that the glass is just as good. The Nightforce NXS is a little more "combat rugged" (but also heavier), but the Sightron scopess are plenty rugged for targets and hunting etc.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy any sightron products. Got my first one recently for br 22's 36 power. Very happy with it. My eyes did get tired after 4 hours of peering through it. Clear glass repeatable very accurate adjustments. No cons for me. Also use s&b, nf, swarovski and leupold. Sightron may be the best value.

I have 3 Sightron SIII's and love them. I just wish they would come out with a compact 4-16X version, then I would have one more.
