Sightron SVED 4.5-24x56ED FFP Mil/Mil

New Sightron FFP scope key features:

ED objective lens
34mm tube.
Locking turrets with 10mil/rev. (35mil elev/ 17.5mil wind)
Illuminated tree reticle.
Compact at 13.7" and 35oz.

I only handled it briefly but it seemed pretty nice. If Sightron price it to compete with Athlon, Bushnell, Delta etc. they will have a winner. If they price it like their SVSS (Schmidt, Kahles, Nightforce territory) then there are better options.

Yeah, that would be odd if it didnt have one. Even more so considering that they are now offering a zero-stop retro fit from their custom shop on certain models.

They only list locking turrets, no mention of a zero stop in their catalog. I’m interested in seeing what price point this model comes in at, looks like a nice scope.

If the price is right I can fogive no zero stop as well, especially with locking turrets and and a usable reticle.

Seems they are trying to have a target scope that is hunting useable with the 4.5x low range of the variable.

The 34mm tube and features add a great deal of weight, common in similar scopes, not just the sightron. 36 ounces. Would this find itself on a mountain rifle, unlikely. On the other hand would pure target shooters fell limited by 24x.
