Sightron turret and reticle swap, anyone have it done?

I'm looking at switching my sightron in MOA and LRMOA reticle to mil/mildot and sightron will do it but it's $300.

Has anyone gone through the process of having it swapped? Or would it be better to just sell the scope and buy one in mil?
 
Interesting! Would they do this with any of their models? I would like the 3.5-10x44 SIII with the mil-hash reticle instead of the plain mil dot. Or better yet, but the new 3-16 STAC and have they put in the mil-hash with mil turrets.
 
If you go to their website and register your scope in the custom shop it will show you the options availabe
 
yes, I did it through Hirsch precision. Painless, turnaround time was around two weeks. The LRMOA reticle with the floating dot in the middle is amazing. The best reticle I have ever used. I wish my Nightforce had one.
 
Probly a stupid question, but if I switched to mill the LRMOA reticle wouldn't work anymore so I would have to switch both no?
