I was wondering what everyone thought about these sights for short bbl "tactical" SG's? ie. faster target aquisition, accurracy, durability, etc.

I'm preparing for when the zombie's attack. Actually, I'll be using my SG for "Shotgun Action" days.

Thanks,

Any sight with a peep is gonna give a faster shot, as you do not use the back sight per say, you just look through it. And it will prevent shooting high. As for the high vis, its nice , but thats about it. I would go with a high vis front, and ghost ring rear peep.:D best of both worlds:) bead is ok for wing shots, but then again , a plain barrel will also do,LOL

most of the 3 gun guys in the US are running beads, its the quickest ...

for tactical stuff i owuld go ghost ring.

i would stay away from hi-viz they break easily...i broke mine :(

I am a big fan of the front sight only be it bead or hi-viz.

Rear sights look cool, but aren't necessary IMO.

Thanks for the input, "guys".

Personally, I've always been a bead guy but I do like GRS & Hi-Viz sights.
The way I see it is....SG's are generally "pointed" and used on instinct when shooting shot(therefore quicker IMO). "Sights" can become more effective and more accurate when shooting slugs at longer distances (!?)

I guess one should use what one is most comfortable with. I guess I just like my "stuff" plain and simple. eg. I prefer handguns with fixed sights because I know were they'll generally shoot unlike with adjustable sights were you'll find out if the sights were adjusted(and you forgot that you did) after sending a few rounds down range.

Hope I didn't twist anyone's shorts into a knot....;)
