Hello,

I wanted to stop by and let you all know that if you ordered a sight from me, it will be shipping out. I'd sent an email to my Canadian customers outlining the delay, but some didn't receive it, thus this post.

What happened was I got spooked. I sent out a few sights and the wonderful USPS stopped tracking the packages (or at least stopped updating the tracking!) after Kokomo, IN. This was Priority International.

All from that initial mailing have reported receiving their sights, and Priority International shipping is insured by default, so I've resumed.

I'm sorry for any confusion or inconvenience!

Regards,

Josh

That's very common, tracking is only good while the USPS have the parcel in it's possession.
Once either nation's Custom's (dis)service gets it into their clutches, then they disappear into the black hole of uncertainty. Can take two to three weeks after the last USPS track before it shows up at Final destination with no further tracking

Hi Diopter,

Thanks for the advice. Except for a few special orders I've not shipped outside the United States, so my practical experience there is lacking somewhat.

Things are speeding up now that I'm not being as cautious (though I always approach everything somewhat cautiously and conservatively).

Thanks again!

Josh

I looked at your web site, nice sights, but why only for Mosin's?

Well Sir, because I'm one guy. Though I'm trying to start in with Mausers and such, the demand for the Mosin sights is so high that I have trouble keeping up with them as-is!

I refuse to charge more than I am, and therefore do all the work, including secretarial, myself. There's just not much time left for R&D.

Regards,

Josh
