Hey everyone, stumbled onto this forum quite by accident a week or so ago - I have read thousands of threads since and I can't believe what a goldmine of information there is here for people interested in the gun scene.
I don't own any guns yet but I have always been around people who were 'gun nuts' and there is something so intoxicating about firearms in general. They represent so many different things, and even though at their root they are a simple tool they are very powerful as a symbol, such a different meaning put on them from every direction.
I am signed up to take the SilverCore course down South in December, one of the reasons I want to get a modest collection of useful firearms is that I can see a day coming when it will be very difficult to do so if you haven't done it already.
Pre-emptive thanks to everyone here for all the info I have already gleaned, I was shocked at just how ignorant I was even though I have been around people who weren't for a long time.
