I picked up a new Sig Mosquito back in sept/06 and shot it up until June/07,
When I had to send it back to Sig for a broken Safety and bent bolt face.
Still no word from Sig as to how much longer it wil be:mad:

They say "still waiting for parts"
I contacted R. Nicholls in Quebec they told me they had in stock the parts I needed.
The repair centre is in Quebec and so is the importer yet they cant get parts.:mad:

Has anyone had to wait this long for a gun to get fixed at a Canadian repair centre?

R Nichols/FS Sports is the importer/disctubutor for SIG and handle the repair work for them....

are you talking about the SigArms in US or the R Nichols/FS Ssports? because SIG doesn't handle any work in Canada and FN is knows to be verrry slow....

R Nichols tells me they have the parts in stock.
The retailer that sold the gun says they are waiting for parts.
5+ mounths for a simple repair is just way to much.

BTW I once had a problem with a Norinco purchased from Marstar, and it was fixed and back in my hands in just over 3 weeks.

So who has the gun? FN sports/R. nichols, the store that sold you the firearm, or Sig? I'm going to hazard a guess and say the store has it, and is getting parts from FN sports? If so, keep waiting because FN sports is brutal to deal with.

Yeh, I had the same problem with my Mosquito except it was a broken firing pin. I bought it new from P&D and received it broken.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

FN had mine for six months. They're the biggest a**holes you can imagine. I will never buy a gun that is related to them ever again. Not even a used one just in case it breaks down and I would be forced to deal with them again. NO WAY.

FN sports in my experience sell gun to civys cos' they are distributor for some mnufactured, but since I deal with them a while ago, I always keep the gut feling that they are the type who think firearms only to military and police. They are not too friendly with us civilian, just like cp220 say, they are brutal...Can I say a bunch of a***ole

I mentioned a while ago that FN Sports/R Nicholls are the only anti-gun gun dealer on the planet, and several HK Fanatics attacked my position, I thought maybe they had changed over the years....nice to see I wasn't wrong. (they're a real bunch of d*cks for retaillers to deal with too, so don't be too hard on your local store if they're at FN Sports mercy)

FN sports is crap. There is no company worse to deal with. For the die hard HK fanatics, that is great for you guys that you liek Hk so much, but a friend of mine just got his USP compact back after waiting close to 14 months to get a porblem fixed, the slide stop kept coming out, that kind of wait is rediculous and completely unacceptable. I find it very hard to beleive that FN could survive alone based on Military and LE sales, conusmer sales are on going, Government sales are one time purchases, big, but not liek the consumer market. FN sucks!
