Sile Revolver Grips Identification

Hi,

Can someone identify these SILE (made in Italy) grips?
They came with a S&W 686, but they are way too small.
My guess after google research is, they are for a COLT D frame model

They look a lot like they're for a Rossi or Taurus to me.

Sile would have been a distributor/retailer in the 1970's. A picture search comes with both smokeless and blackpowder revolvers from various makers.

I took a look at a Colt Agent and Cobra and a J frame. Don't think I see a match.

Don't think the bottom inside cut out is square enough for that, I think Rossie could be it, colt , no.
HI standard revolver? , don't know

Your j frame is a round butt. I suggest j frame square butt.
