Silenced 1895 Nagant revolver

Silenced revolvers, yeah. Lot's of guns can be suppressed though.

I remember reading that these were a favourite of Beria's NKVD agents as well as political kommissars. I guess they come in handy when you need to administer a "lead ration" in silence.

Since the cylinder moves forward & the brass case provides a gas seal, there is no cylinder gap & therefore no noise coming out. So I would assume that they would be very quite.
 
This type of weapon was the favorite of Polish Police special squads in pre-1939 years. Silencer was only 2 inches long really short. It was made by Radom Arms factory in early 30s
It was also quite popular with robbers and bigger criminals.
