Silly Enfield Observation....

It's not until you've handled other milsurp rifles that you genuinely begin to appreciate the smoothness of the LE's bolt-action.........after "cocking-on-closing", it's blissful to see the bolt handle "spring up" all by itself as I pull the bolt back to chamber another round....

I believe cyclone may be referring to the Enfields' propensity towards the bolt handle popping up slightly, when the striker falls on an empty chamber.

That said... It still didn't fire!



That also said, yes, the Enfield action IS the slickest - I even prefer it over the straight-pull K31.
