silly question about clean/rinse

i'm kinda having a moment here.i'm parkerizing my gun,the gun is blasted.next step is too rinse.what the heck do i rinse it with??lmao.i feel like a real "tool" here.be gentle on me boys and girls.:redface: :redface:
 
"...next step is too(sic) rinse..." You need to get any remaining dust etc off the steel. Water will do, but be sure you can get the whole thing completely dry, inside and out. Your oven set on 'warm' or whatever the lowest temparature is will speed this up. 15 to 20 minutes. Use oven mitts to take it out.
 
What is it, a pistol or rifle?

When I did my 1911 I boiled it one pot then put it directly in the park pot. I did it that way to ensure that I had gotten all traces of oil out of the nooks and crannies as I didn't have any de-greaser to dunk it in. If it's a rifle you could pour very hot water on it for the same effect and then park.
