Silver Horseshoe Trap League

Does anyone here know any details about the Silver Horseshoe Trap League that runs from September over the winter in SW Ontario. I've never been in a trap league before but would like to just for fun (someone has to come in last place). Any info on this or if you think checking out one of the clubs that's involved would be great.

The Silver Horseshoe consists of Galt (Cambridge), HAHA (Anchaster), Waterford, and Waterdown. Are you a member anywhere yet?

I'm a member at Guelph. Do you have to be a member of one of the clubs involved to shoot in the league?

Contact Ron Wallace at Galt. He runs the league. IMHO, I think the clubs like targets in the air. I can't imagine that they wouldn't let you shoot, even if your score doesn't count for anyone. It is a fun 50 target shoot on a Sunday.

Hi, Guelph guys can shoot for Waterdown with no problem.

I believe 1:00 pm is the cut off time.

They could start anytime after 9:00 am. People sign up and fill squads as they show up. If you want to shoot early, then you better get there early. I expect that there will be well over 100 shooters there tomorrow morning. As long as you show up before 1:00 you will get to shoot.

I was in the 20th squad and there was only 4 of us, so we where likely the last group to shoot.
