Anyone ever go trap shooting at Silverdale? I am thinking to go there next Saturday and wondering what peoples experience is.

I just bought my first shot gun and want to test it before partridge season....

A safe bet for sure is the Hamilton Gun Club.

Went to Hamilton GC and it was great. Ken shower me the ropes of skeet and I had a blast. Was good to test out the new shot gun before I hit the fields for bird... Thanks for the suggestion.

Silverday has a very nice skeet and trap area. Big modern motorized machine for skeet. Step on a button and it throws a clay in a random direction (in the area you will be shooting of course). I took a friend there for his first time a few months ago and he loved it!

I shot my first skeet-session there, with my brother and a friend taking turns as well. Time well spent.
