I've read several magazine articles on these new Simmons scopes, and the concensus seems to be that their new way of mounting the erector tube should be great. The limited amount of testing also indicated that there were no problems, and certainly the theory behind this developement makes sense. The testers have also agreed that the optics are very good, as is the eye relief since Meade took over Simmons.
Now the question: Has anyone actually pounded one of the Master Pro-Hunter series on a hard kicking rifle? I dont mean a gun mag author---just a real human being.
