Choosing between the Simmons Pro Target 3x9x40 with SF and .22 calibrated turrets, or the Nikon Pro Staff 2 3x9x40 rimfire w/BDC.
Any opinions or experience with either or both appreciated.
The Nikon is more bux but wonder about the fixed at 50 yards parrallax And BDC versus the SF and yardage elevation turret of the Simmons.

Mainly plinking cans or gophers, maybe some paper or steel targets.

I recently converted a 10/22 back to stock, and wanted to put a scope on it. Nothing fancy...so I picked up a $39 Simmons 4x32 .22 Mag from Wholesale Sports. Pretty darn good picture for that price...even came with rings and a lifetime warranty...lol.

My .17 HMR has a Nikon Buckmasters 6-18x40SF...which I've been very happy with. The new model Pro Staff II now has 98% light transmission, up from 90%.
