Google doesn’t seem to be helping. Does anyone know of a dealer in Canada that sells Sinclair products. I’m specifically looking for a expander die and some turning mandrels.

Brownell is your best bat, wait for 10%-30% and purchase it then. Make sure it get shipped USPS and it's a flip of a coin if you get hit for taxes.

X Reload has some Sinclair products. They carry the stuff you are looking for. In stock currently or not I dont know. But they seem to replenish fairly frequently.

Then a nice Canadian brokerage fee for opening your pkg you didn't
ask them to 6 weeks later.. Don't send anything UPS.

I bought a bit of stuff from Sinclair International before it was swallowed up by Brownells, and I have purchased stuff from Bownells, so I don't see why you would have an issue ordering direct; the tools you want are not ITAR controlled. Some manufacturers of ITAR controlled products aren't interested in paying for the required export permits and Brownells won't ship those particular products to Canada. Be sure to insist on USPS for shipping your purchase.

Think I’ll go with x reload. Only about $10 more for a die and 4 mandrels and priced in Canadian dollars.

Always pays to get the SKU of the item and do a search in Canada. I have found times when I could buy the item at the US price with no exchange involved. Sometimes Cdn shipping is a tipping point as to who is cheaper. Brownell's is pretty good as to shipping prices, I use "ocean freight " for shipping and let them pick the cheapest shipping. The bulk of the time it comes in tax free. Just had 15doz decoy heads , made in China, ordered in the US, dropped at my door, no sig, no taxes, no S&H chg. Had 8 boxes of decoys from US, made in China, S&H chgs, paid duty on one box, tax on 4, 3 were del'd to house no chg of any kind. Recently bought 3 dies out of US, no taxes, probably 20.00 overall, cheaper than advertised up here, because the US freight factor was cheaper than up here. And I've bought stuff I couldn't get right away up here, that was more expensive to get from down south, but, wasn't willing to wait for. Usually, that doesn't work out to be too much more, 10-15.00.
Do some research, take your chances and roll the dice on the gst and duty if it may be applicable, watch for US vendor S&H charges, use USPS, not UPS.

I just got another order from Brownells, $149u.s value and no tax and inspection.

It's really hit or miss.

Does anyone work in package distribution/tax/inspection center, who can give us an idea what the process is?

Brownells and Sinclair are now one and the same. Anything you order from one or the other is coming from the same place.

Logging in from either site with the same credentials takes you to the same account.
