Single Point Sling for M1 Carbine

I'm in a similar situation where I want to use my Ruger American Ranch in upcoming (hopefully) CQB matches. In order to attach my existing single point sling, I needed a way to attach the sling. I ordered this strap that goes around the butt stock just behind the pistol grip. It should do the trick for an M1 Carbine as well. Just something you may want to look into.

I like the Blue Force Gear UDC Padded Bungee Single Point Sling. But I don't know if it is what you need for a 3 gun match.

I don't think they're popular anymore, but , would a 3 point sling work in place of a single point on a M1 carbine , the gun would hang close to the way a single point would, only issue is more straps to work with .
The only issue, I can see, with using one that raps around the stock, aside from that being a kind of weak point with M1 carbine stocks , is that it sits right where you want to put your hand .

Just a thought, Viking tactical make a buttstock sling adapter for Fixed stock AR , it won't fit a M1 carbine as it is , but , it might be a starting point for what you want , put a longer strap on it , so it rides farther forward.

There is another option, but it calls for a permanent modification, GrovTec heavy duty push button bases , I usethem on a shotguns, they work great, I like the limited rotation ones , I find the sling doesn't twist with them

I think that would work. I recently put a scout mount on my M1 carbine and made it way better.
