Hey guys!

Just wondering if you guys would give me some input. I have single shot 10 gauge and I'm thinking of putting on scope on it, I mostly use it for spring turkey and the odd time for shotgun season for deer. Would you put a scope on it and if so what do you recommend?

Thanks
Phil

I had one .had the gun smith put rifle sights on it for turkey hunting and it worked great just kicked the crap out of anyone that shot it ,but it was a dream to carry .and way to lite for the 10g shell .it was a h&r .Dutch

That's what I have is the H&R. The reason I'm looking to put a scope on it is cuz I use slugs thru it for deer(but I'm worried the recoil may be too much for a scope). And yes the gun that kills at both end! Lol

Bsa deer hunter 2.5x20 scope works. Never had it on my 10 ga but had it on my 3.5" 12 ga 45/70 sxs and my 458 wm. It has held up perfect. Adds little weight and very compact

If you get a good quality scope like a Leupold fixed 3X20, you won't have to worry about the effects of recoil damaging it.
