My dad recently purchased a Beretta 303 with a 3" chamber. The shotgun functions perfectly, when loaded with a single shell...
This is what happens when one round is chambered with two extra rounds in the magazine. Firing the first round results in a perfect ejection of the spent case but the second and third shells somehow end in the action/elevator area, without a second-shot feed.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue with their 301/302/303? Is there a cleaning issue I've overlooked that could possibly correct this? The gun will eventually find it's way to the smithy, just wondering if there's a quick fix.
