I started with a single shot 410. That thing pissed me off so many times. It patterned low and I shot the snow out from under his feet and then hed stop 5' ahead and stare at me. Then I got a 12ga. Things changed. I do a lot of muzzleloading and archery. That taught me to make the first shot count. It is nice to have another quick shot in the double but I consentrate on the first shot evrytime no matter what gun I have
