I bought new upper-end glass for 3 of my rifles -- an Aimpoint Micro for my SB VZ58, a new Triji for my AR, and a beautiful Nightforce for my target gun. Once my credit card gasped back to life, I ordered a basic SiteLite 100 to zero the bunch and save precious range time. Having no experience with this product, the purchase was a bit of a gamble, but I hoped for the best.

I was pleasantly surprised.
Firstly, the unit comes in a small heavy duty plastic case, with nicely organized cutouts for the little components. Also the instructions are very good, as is the ballistic software that it comes with.

I set up all 3 rifles inside on the floor, and measured out a 25' path to a wall. Then slowly and carefully into the muzzle went the unit. The thin part has precisely measured interchangeable o-rings for several calibers that cushion and centre the rod from the bore. As it slides in, the magnetic cone portion centres the thick end at the muzzle.

I then turned on the scopes and and zeroed to what amounts to about an inch above where the sighter laser struck the wall.

The proof was in the pudding at the range this morning.

At 100 yards, the AR was 1.5 inches to the right of centre and 2 inches too high. A quick dial-in, 5 more shots, .... dead on!

Then came the VZ at 50 yards (7.5 inch barrel) -- it was dead center, but 2 inches high. Quick dial and all was great.

Needless to say I am incredible pleased with not only the quality of the product, but its performance. I feel as though it saved me a few mags of ammo, and regards to my target gun it also pointed out a mounting issue before wasting a ton of time shooting.

I ran the sighter at home with the target gun, and was stumped by a scope that bottomed out long before it centred. I have a 0 MOA rail on a tikka with night force rings. So i tried switching the rings front to back, re-torqued , and that solved it. I cannot say if there was something else at play here, but the scope is zeroed now, near the centre of its X and Y axis. But the centre of the story is that the Site Lite saved me a ton of time and ammo by warning me in the warmth of my house that something was off.

two thumbs up!!
