Is anyone using these, and has any recommendations on which one I should get? There are 3 versions, the 100, 150, and 500. The first two have red lasers, and the 500 has the green laser but is double the price. Should I just go with the cheapest one (100)? Or is it worth it to go with a more expensive model?

I know you don't want to hear this, but save your money and buy NO laser boresighter- I've had a couple , and you're far better off using a couple of rounds of ammo the old fashioned way- I've had both the spud and chambered varieties, and all it does is put the round on the paper- where on the paper is anyone's guess- better to put your target up at "first crosses line of sight at x yards , see where that group lies, move your dials accordingly, then drop back to 100 and fire again- your lasers need a minimum of 50 or something to "see the target " anyway, and chances are you won't see the dot at any more than 100 anyway- even worse in daylight - I've even used rec-t-fires so called reflective target and I couldn't see it in daylight in red-

I have the SL-150 . Pick up the reticle leveler while you are at it

No problem seeing dot at 100 yards

Had a SL-100 and it worked just as well

This thing has saved lots of time ( putting up paper at less than 100 yards so you can at least hit paper, moving to 100 yard , firing groups etc )

Sure you don't need it, but for me my range time is limited...don't want to spend it sighting in new setup

If I charged every time used it to help guys sighting in at the local ranges it would have paid for itself . You would be surprised how many setups can't hit paper first time out even at 50yrds or closer .

No idea why people use the rear windage ( single dovetail style rings )

The SiteLite is far better than the cheapo laser boresiters most people use. In all fairness the Sit Lites are 3-5 times more expensive !

Better than the in chamber ones . I can always be on paper at 100yrds

I swap scopes around lots on rifles that have anywhere from ) MOA to 28 MOA bases . Its much easier to spend 5 mins in my backyard before heading to the range

I have sited lots of guns with high quality picatinny bases and rings / unimounts etc
