Good afternoon people,

I'm looking for sites that offer free shipping id like to buy bulk .223 and 9mm but the shipping is crazy on the few sites I looked into, also I'm in the Halifax area and its very difficult to find powder and getting it shipped it cost double the price due to the dangerous good shipping fees.
If anyone can help me out that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I know of Tenda, Bullseye North and Canada Ammo. To get the free shipping, Tenda is over $300 total purchased and Bullseye North/Canada Ammo is over $200 I believe. I've never ordered Ammo before, so that may be an issue with these retailers with regards to shipping (sorry about that).

By bulk do you actually mean bulk? Like half a pallet of ammo/50 cases of 1000 or so? If so then there are some freight companies that will ship ammo and you may be able to get free or low cost shipping.

If by bulk you mean a few cases of 1000 then it will go with a courier. Sadly the cheap courier option (Canpar) stopped delivering ammo. SO there are few retailers offering actual free shipping on ammunition these days. I've bought lots of ammo from Tenda and they have free shipping over $300 but there is usually a surcharge for ammo. Some places have flat rate shipping, some offer no real deal at all.

Fortunately most of the sponsors listed ont he top of the page have websites with shipping policies you can check out. Good luck !

Bullseye North doesn't offer free shipping on ammo.

Watch the free shipping in some cases. I checked C*****s and they are free shipping over a certain amount but one example of ammunition was $7 per 50 more which made paying shipping at another site cheaper.

My thoughts, with the current issues with vendors and shipping, best of luck finding a dealer who would eat the cost of shipping. Canpar was the go to service. We stopped shipping powder, primers and ammo because of this.

Bullseye charged me over 100 bucks to ship a case of 9mm ammo they suck

Shipping ammunition these days is very expensive, even at dealer rates. Ammunition is a dangerous good, because it is explosive/flammable, and as such carriers charge very large additional fees to ship it. Sadly there's not enough margin these days in ammo, especially in bulk, for many companies to eat the ever increasing shipping cost.

Exactly. Honestly, trap shells are not even worth carrying. Maybe make a buck and a half a box to keep prices competitive.

Tenda says free shipping over $300 but I live in a city a little over an hour away from them, and they charged me extra on a $400 order that I've ordered many times from them (same thing) and never charged me shipping before. If they have to charge more for shipping, then tell us that and get rid of the free shipping option, but don't do it after check out. I actually had to call and ask why it hadn't shipped yet and was told they lost the e-mail they sent me (???) and that it was going to cost more. Did I want to add the extra shipping charges or not - take it or leave it. In the future, I believe I will "leave it" and go elsewhere. They had messed me around on an order a few years ago, but had been great up to this order. Low prices aren't as low as you thought, after you place your order....

I bought a bunch of ammo from tenda just a couple weeks ago, shipped to me absolutely free.

It isn't Tenda doing the erratic shipping - free to one customer but charge shipping to someone else. It's the courier, I think UPS, behind it. The courier uses subcontractor in areas they don't service, and that's where the extra charges and bs comes from. Unfortunately there just isn't much to choose from with shipping ammo or powder.

Canpar was a brilliant service but when they went anti-firearm they caused real problems for us. REMEMBER TO BOYCOTT FEDEX AND CANPAR if possible.
