Hello all ,
I'm a new guy around here and I like to ask the experienced hunters. Anybody have experience with Sitka clothing? I just saw it in Bass pro today ,try them on and feels very comfortable .

Thanks Jozsef

I got the Ascent pants, Core base layer top/bottoms, and Traverse base layer top/bottoms. Also Celcius toque and Traverse beanie and Traverse gloves. All good product, performs as advertised. Very expensive, but a good investment if you're serious about hunting on foot in the weather. If you ride around in a truck or on an atv in nice weather you probably would be better served with something less technical

If you look at Cabelas, they sell them in different camo. They sell them in the real tree camo styles. I just wish they came in a tall size so I could buy them.

It all depends on where and how you hunt. Sitka gear is based on a system principle. Wear there base layers and midweight layers plus the 90% series and you should be great for mobile hunting. Now if you sit in a treestand or on stand you are gonna appreciate the celsius series since the 90% sucks for this. You can also add things like the dutch oven vest(heated vest) to your celsius series system to stay extra warm if your up a tree in late December.

For the money that they charge for new Sitka gear at BP I'd be more inclined to order a custom suit in Predator or ASAT (Same Principles as Optifade) from Grey Wolf Wollens or Day One Camo
