I have a fair amount of Rivers west clothing - both the lighter wear and the heavier neoprene type clothing. I I also have the heavier stuff because the wind never penetrates it and it keeps the heat in on those cold treestand days. What is it about Sitka that you really like?

Sorry I don't have any experience with either you have asked about but might I suggest looking at Pnuma hunting apparel. My buddy just bought some this year and I'm really impressed with it. The quality is very nice and it has a lifetime warranty, even if you rip it crossing a fence just send it back for repair or replacement, and you deal directly with the owner. Just something to keep in mind

Sitka's customer service can't be beat, they stand behind everything they send out. Even damage you have done to your own garment can get fixed by them for a reasonable price. Each piece I own and others I've handled are without a doubt, the most comfortable and thought out pieces of hunting clothing I've ever seen. Miles ahead of under armour in terms of quality as well.

I really like my Sitka Stratus jacket/bibs. Rivers West stuff I've seen looked bulky and less fitted but that was a while ago. Why limit yourself to these two brands? Do yourself and shop around, lots of companies to choose from, you can even mix/match.

I like Sitka for the fit, not bulky or too roomy but still allows for layers. I can move well and avoid being cold and/or over heating. Fit is key as I use my Sitka stuff primarily for archery hunting. Construction is good, on par with other good brands but I'd never pay full price for the stuff.

I have a ton of Sitka gear that has worked well in harsh places like Kodiak and Western Alaska but recently got some Kuiu stuff which I have been very impressed with and at a lower price...

I will have to look into Kuiu stuff. Sitka seems to be priced quite high and I seldom see it on sale but I may need to check it out when it's time to replace some of my current gear

Had not heard of Pnuma but I will need to check it out ...and find out what they define as a "Lifetime" warranty. Could be something to consider if I can find a dealer in Ontario
